A dog is for life not just christmas

Whilst I would usually try and showcase others work on folksy, today I want to appeal directly to the people who read my blog. The christmas season is one of the busiest times for animal rescues, also in the current financial climate they are even more stretched. So I ask, even if you don't want to buy anything from my store which all profits go to the animal rescue I got my beloved Peaches from, find time to make a donation no matter how big or small to a animal rescue near you.

I went to jewellery class tonight, I don't always like the pieces I make but I love being able to talk to others with the same passion as me. It's also nice to be able to get design idea's from others. Tonight was wire wrapping ring's which I was happy to do as I have done so much seed beading recently I was worried my wire skill's were getting rusty.

Good day on the whole today, after over sleeping I made it to my slimming world class in roughly 10 minutes. I lost another 1lb!!!

I've been working on a set of celini spirals necklaces for a while now, this one is my newest. I have had the frosted yellow beads for a while and its taken me ages to find some I liked that went together. I hope I have done them justice. The good thing is I have half a bag of them left so I now have to find something else to do with them.

Weight loss!!!!

i just went to my first weeks slimming world and i have lost 2lb!!!! i am so pleased as i have been really bad this week with chocolate and desserts. i have done lots more exersise and i aim to do as much as i can this week, but it does mean i can have a naughty chocolate and not feel guilty.

craft wise i am still working on my cellini spiral necklaces but i had to sto pwork on the red one as i ran out of one set of beads, i have almost completes a purple/blue one which i hope to list very soon.
